Rolled Metal Products Names Ken Lenz Sales Representative, May 17, 2013

Rolled Metal Products has named Ken Lenz as sales representative for western Michigan and Indiana. Rolled Metal Products is a metal service center specializing in stainless steel, nickel alloys, titanium, aluminum and other specialty metals in coil form.

"Ken has an exceptional understanding of customers' needs and a knack for providing innovative solutions to their problems," said Wendy Crawford, Rolled Metal Product's Alsip service center manager. "We are excited to have someone with Ken’s expertise join our team to help lead our continued growth."

Lenz began his career with Cargill Steel and Wire, and has held sales positions with Harris Steel Company, Hubbell Steel Company, Metalwest, Kenwood Painted Metals and Esmark. He holds a bachelor of science in marketing from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.

Rolled Metal Products, Inc. announces a restructuring for two of its three business units. The Torrington, CT (RMP-CT) and Bensalem, PA (RMP-PA) facilities will be merged into one business unit to be renamed Rolled Metal Products – Northeast (RMP-NE). Over the next few months, machinery and inventory of RMP-CT will be relocated to Bensalem, PA. As planned, this relocation will have minimal disruption to our vendor and customer bases. We expect the combination of assets will yield greatly improved efficiencies and improvements to the way RMP operates. We ask for your full support during this busy time. On the management side, Ron Williams remains as President of Rolled Metal Products, Inc. For RMP-NE, Ed Shultz becomes the General Manager, Stephen Krause becomes the Regional Sales and Purchasing Manager, and Richard Kubitsky becomes the Operations Manager. No changes are planned for your current RMP contacts, but over time there may be modifications, as would always be the case. No changes are being made to the Alsip, IL operation (RMP-IL).
We are very excited about this change and feel this merger will position RMP Northeast as a superior metals service center, encompassing all aspects of coil slitting and processing, under one roof.
