Alloy 18 SR® in Coil Form

Description
18 SR is a titanium stabilized ferritic stainless steel that can be used for high temperature applications up to 2000˚F in dry air. 18 SR has high temperature scaling resistance superior to that of Types 409, 430, and 304 stainless steels due to the aluminum addition in this grade. This grade has corrosion resistance, formability, and weldability similar to that of Type 439 and 441. Typical applications include industrial ovens, furnace equipment, heat exchangers, and automotive exhaust components.
